Responsibilities:
Perform duties to review all inpatient admissions to assure appropriate level of care, assists with developing plans of care and discharge plans, monitors all clinical activities, makes recommendations for alternative levels of care, identifies cost-effective protocols, and develops guidelines for care. This individual will visist inpatients in local hospital settings.
Position Qualification Requirements:
Knowledge/Experience: At least 3 years recent clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting particularly in medical/surgical, pediatrics, NICU, obstetrics or home health. One year of manager care (HMO) experience is preferred - but not required for the right candidate.
